I know i have a tab for it, but updating pages takes so long so i will just do a post about my wishlist.

spoiled brat

Up first is this Wet n Wild trio in spoiled brat. im a sucker for pink and black and these are beautiful. The black is so sparkly, you can see it in this photo. I have heard wonderful things about wnw but havent had the chance to pick them up.

NYX pinched.

This is a NYX powder blush in pinched. This has been hailed as the perfect dupe for nars orgasm so i really want to try it out. The color is beautiful has a bit of shimmer in it, so i have to have it.

Garnier BB Cream.

Garnier will be launching this bb cream soon in europe and according to some other sources will be jumping the pond and arriving in the us by december...i sure hope so!! i have been following musings of a muse and she has talked about BB creams before and has sparked my interest.

What is a BB cream?
BB creams come in a variety of different formulations and qualities. Some are said to have skin whitening or brightening properties. Others are anti-acne, some are anti-wrinkle, some are intended to even out skin tone, and yet others to lighten blemish scars. BB creams are sometimes used like a primer under foundation, and if tinted may even replace foundation and some newer ones will have functions of primer, foundation, moisturizer, sun block, pore minimization and skin refining together which can save time and money in make-up.
So Basically its an all in one beauty cream that has sunscreen...kinda like a tinted moisturizer but better.

Last but certainly not least is the fall collection from mineralface fx. These were just released so im not sure if they are on the site. If you are interested in any of these colors i can get you the contact information to get them!! Colors (l to r) top: nougat, brownstone, copper diamond, plum wine and wind chime. bottom: aurora, whispering pines, persian red, lambrusco and linen. I want them all but if i only had to pick 5 it would be whispering pines, linen, brownstone, aurora and plum wine.

This color is also included in the fall collection and it is tear drop. It just looks gorgeous. Once i get my hands on these i will definatly be doing a review and swatches so stay tuned for that.

EOTD: hustled smog

Hello again!! i have a few more days left of this week and then i will start posting something other then eyes of the day. Im slooooowly working on a blog schedule but havent gotten very far into it.
Today was so hot, but i wanted to do a little bit of a darker natural look so i busted out the naked palette.

smog is the 4th one from left, hustle is the purplish color

I used smog as the whole eyelid color, hustle as the crease color and sin as the highlight.

I really like how this look turned out, not too dark and not to heavy either. I cant get enough of the naked palette....im ready for fall to actually bust out the darker colors.

EOTD: pokerface and lovegame.

so far i have done pretty well at updating daily. I have some things i would like to start posting but for now, im still going with eye of the day. Its easy and painfree.
didnt have much planned today, just my son's dr. appt and my daughters ballet recital...both went extremely well. I wanted something bright and fun and i figured since I love purple and pink i would go with those colors.

I used my mineral face fx again...i promise once school is back in session i will get swatches and reviews up of all the colors i have. These colors are both from the lady gaga collection.

pokerface is a purpleish with a very pretty pink/silver glitter. Lovegame is super sparkly pink with silver glitter.

I used the same liner and mascara as the other looks this week. also used elf bronzer again since its too hot for a full face.

Lovegame is on the entire lid, pokerface in the crease. I also used my nyx glitter palette in paradise. out of the 5 colors i used to black sparkles.

no flash so this is the true look.

EOTD...iron man goes frolicking through the spanish moss

I was organizing my makeup case and came across some colors i havent seen in awhile!! I am a member of a moms only forum Cafemom and have met a wonderful mother/entrepreneur named Laurie who runs her own mineral makeup company Mineralface FX. She has wonderful products and her colors are amazing!!

These particular colors are from 2 different collections, The spring 2011 and superfriends. The silver is Iron Man and the green is called Spanish Moss. Ill be doing a review on her company soon. but until then here is my eye of the day

    Its still way to hot out to do a whole face look. I just used my elf bronzer, eyeliner, mascara and shadow.

I really like this combo together. silver and green together are awesome!!

no flash. i really like how this turned out!!

EOTD: a half baked dark horse.

Sorry its been so long since i have updated....its hard trying to find the right things to blog about. or the camera has a dead battery and im just to lazy to charge it lol.
Here is a look i did tonight. I used Urban Decay's naked palette with covergirl and rimmel liner.

fresh faced.

            

It would of been a whole face, but the right side of my mouth is swollen....im having dental issues..but anywho. I started off with priming my eyelids with the original urban decay primer potion. I love the way it feels and how smooth it makes my eyes.

products used. hard candy blush. covergirl mascara and eyeliner. rimmel liner. naked palette

colors used. darkhorse half baked smog and toasted.

eyes:  UD primer potion
         UD darkhorse (on lid)
         UD halfbaked (crease color)
         UD smog (inner corner)
         UD toasted (under eye)
         UD virgin (brow highlight) All colors in UD naked palette.
         Covergirl Lastblast Volume in Very Black
         Both Rimmel Kohl Liner and CoverGirl liquiline blast eyeliners in black.

There is my look of the day. I know the pictures arent the best but im still trying to learn how to work the damn thing!!

  I think the next time i use the Nyx glitter liner it will definatly be over black...although the color did show up...it wasnt want i thought it would look like. I think doing a black liner with the glitter liner on top is what i will try next time!!!

urban decay naked pallete!! swatches and reviews!!

Thanks for checking in again!! I have purchased my FIRST urban decay product and i have to say, im in love with it!! I have read numerous reviews and have seen a crap ton of pictures/tuts with the naked palette featured and i had to check it out for myself!!
  

   Love the packaging!!! it comes in a nice dark chocolate colored velvet type box..i love it! it looks great against the purple holder.  The back of the box gives UD's description of the product with colors and ingredients listed.


I wasnt able to get mine with the liner like some people were able to, but i got a full size Good Karma eyeshadow brush which runs about $24. on the website...so far this brush is awesome and it works phenomenally well with the set. i havent tried any other brushes it with it yet...but one day i will.

 from left to right: virgin, sin, naked, sidecar, buck,halfbaked, smog, darkhorse, toasted, hustle, creep and gunmetal..another thing i like about UD is their superb color name skills.

 here is the first set of swatches....it was a fast snap since the kids are roaming around( i talk about them like zombies lol) but here are the first six

virgin, sin, naked, sidecar, buck and halfbaked

     and here are the other 6:

smog, darkhorse, toasted, hustle, creep and gunmetal

                              so far i have only used the lighter of the colors since it has been so hot out, but once the weather decides to corporate   i will definatly use the darker colors.....

my box of tricks.

I have finally found the time to fill my yazmo makeup case!!! its way super convenient to use and all my makeup is safe from little wandering hands!!!

once you open it up, your greeted by all the rest of my mffx shadows and my lovely new toy there...my first urban decay purchase ever!!!! underneath that is a nyx glitter palette and my eyelash curler.

all my nail stuff!! got some china glaze, opi, essie and zoya!! also have some sally hansen, my kiss stickers and the green box is full of my konad and bundle monster stampers!!

 random makeup bags, polish removers and my coastal scents palette.
