(face)Mask Monday!!
Todays review is going to be on My Beauty Diary Chocolate Truffle Mask. This was my first time using a face sheet mask and i was kinda of nervous! Its just a thin cotton sheet with extract on it. The way you apply is simple...put the mask on (it has precut eye and mouth holes), wait 15-20 minutes, remove mask and rub the left over extract in! short and simple.
This mask smells like a chocolate shop. rich and delicious. The extract was very refreshing and left my skin nice and moisturized.
I recommend this face mask and give it 4 out of 5 skulls. it was a little to big for my face and made me look like a goofball but it was worth it!!
Have you tried any of the my beauty diary line or any other face masks? let me know!!!
happy tuesday yall!!

Victorian Disco Review part II
So i am on beautylish and ran across the lovely Smashley S. Owner of Victorian Disco Cosmetics and she was looking for people to do trials for her beautiful eyeshadows and glitters!! I jumped at the chance to do this!!
you can find part one of the review here.
This review is over yoda's yoga mat, do the jabba jabba and a cosmetic glitter in predator. I love these colors. I though they would be too bright for me...but on my skin they look really nice. maybe ill have a look up of them soon.
sorry about the sideways ones...they reverted back when i uploaded them.
here is predator, do the jabba jabba and yodas yoga mat. The top is over too faced shadow insurance the botton is bare skin. I really love the light wash yym gives on bare skin and it looks darling over primer. Its a nice light green with a golden shimmer-y shift kinda. do the jabba jabba is a nice bright yellow. it does have some shimmer to it. again its gorgeous either way but i love it over tfsi. Predator is a nice red base glitter with silver/gold glitters. this definatly needs to be applied over a primer or glitter glue. As you can tell...it barely stayed on bare skin but stuck to that primer. I took a shower right after i did these swatches and had to scrub on my hand to get the colors off.
I definatly recommending going out and getting Victorian Disco Cosmetics. You can find her on etsy here and on facebook here.
well they we have it ladies and gents. A big thank you again to Ashley for letting me participate in these trials...expect an order from me after the holidays!!!
thanks for checking out this review!!
until next time,

victorian disco review....part 1
I found out about Victorian Disco Cosmetics (im just gonna call it VDC) on Beautylish. if you have never been on there i highly suggest you check it out! Beautylish is one of many social sites about makeup/beauty and by far the best i have been to!!! everyone is wonderful and there are some very talented beauties on there...you can find me on beautylish here! Anywho....i ran across Smashley S.(dontcha love it) and she was asking if anyone was interested in doing trial reviews for her new cosmetics company...of course i said yes!!! i had seen some swatches on the VDC facebook page and was super excited to be able to participate in this trial!!!
onto some pictures: here is the black and pink bag the trials were sent to me in....how cute are they?
love the return star!!
inside i received 6 samples and a lovely tokidoki note.
i really like the colors i recieved. For being a sample it is quite a bit of shadow...im not really good with eyeballing measurments so im not sure the size but you can get quite a bit of wear out of these. The only thing i wish the label would of been on the other side but i understand its purpose to keep the bag sealed so its not a big deal....just personal preference. and how cute is the tokidoki note? i love it!!!!
colors: I received 6 samples...5 shadows and 1 cosmetic glitter. the shadows are: do the jabba jabba, yodas yoga mat, tatooine, pannier, and revolutionary ball. I love the names...and anything nerdy rocks in my book...star wars is really easy to pick awesome makeup names!!! The glitter i got is predator.
i dont know why those are sideways...sorry!!!
on part of 1 of this review i did tatooine, revolutionary ball and pannier...swatched over tfsi and bare hand.
tatooine, pannier, revolutionary ball.
I really love all 3 of these colors....esp pannier! tatooine is a nice gold with gold flecks...its really pretty. pannier is a neutral taupe-y brown with a hint of gold shimmer....its looks great on a neutral eye. revolutionary ball is a nice blue with a kind of green shift with pink/green/blue shimmer. (im terrible with describing colors these are what i see)

i really love this color it super awesome!!!!

WnW walking on eggshells: review, swatches and look.
This review is on the wet n wild trio palette in walking on eggshells which i picked up the other day. I also have silent treatment and some wnw nail polish that i have on schedule for another post.
This is a really nice neutral palette, perfect for work or everyday wear. These three colors are very pretty together. The eyelid is a nice soft peachy pink nude. The crease is a light brownish gold color (reminds me a little of UD halfbaked) and the browbone is a nice champagne color with sparkle.
These are best applied with a primer underneath. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance on the bottom half and no primer on the top. The crease color was the hardest to work with. It barely shows up with primer and i packed it on. The eyelid and crease colors look great with or without primer. I would definitely do aome other color as a highlight.
As far as quality goes, this is my first adult try with wnw and im pretty impressed. For $2.99(usd) i would recommend this. The only thing is that browbone color though. Highly pigmented and with primer has definite staying power.

Thanks for checking it out.

Garnier Fructis Herbashine Hair Color with Bamboo Extract - Review!!
I got my coupon in the mail and went to town.
dontcha just love free stuff?
supplies: plastic bag, hair color, petroleum jelly.
The color ended up being a lot darker then i thought it was going to be but that could of had something to do with the color my hair was BEFORE dying it. My hair was a weird red, orange and brown color and since it is fall I wanted to go darker.
after color.
before color.
Review: Overall I really enjoyed my experience with this product. I have been using garnier products for about 2 yrs and have had nothing but great experiences. The hair color its self was simply to use and wasnt as strong smelling as other hair dyes are known to be. It took about 10 minutes for the color to develop. I usually leave it on a minute or two longer then the normal time. For me it seems this helps the color to last longer and have great results.
I well definately recommend this product for friends and will be purchasing again when that times comes (ill be going back to red).
Thanks for checking my review out. comments or suggestions are welcomed.

darling girl…swatches/review.
hello all!! welcome back to my blogs, thanks for checking it out!!
I have been super busy with life, but since school has started hopefully ill jump back on the blogging wagon…so here is my first post in a while.
I found out about Darling Girl from Mandy who I follow on blogger. Her looks are wonderful.
this is a review pack they have on the website. I decided to get this just to try it out, but I also placed an order for some other shadows.
The colors I received (plus website description)
Chimera: Pale peach with gold shimmer (over white base) or pale silvery lavender with gold shimmer (over regular primer)
Belle: Warm baby pink with subtle violet shift and gold shimmer.
Texas Tea: deep charcoal grey with green shift and loads of multicolored eye safe glitter.
Enchanted: Lilac-y pink with blue duo chrome glitter.
Zombie: which is a Holo-gloss lip gloss. Cranberry base with blue and copper holo shimmers.
These colors are all very wonderful. full of shimmer and great color payoff. I applied all of these over my too faced shadow insurance.
colors are bottom left(clockwise): Enchanted, Texas Tea, Zombie, Belle and Chimera.
I am really looking forward to purchasing more from darling girl…im getting my list compiled now!! another thing I love about this company is the fact you have 3 different sizes to choose from. Sample size is $0.70 and is approximately 1/8 of a teaspoon. Petit is $2.25 and holds approximately 1/4 teaspoon. Full Size is $5.50 and holds approximately 3/4 of a teaspoon. (prices and sizes from the website: here.
Thanks for checking out my blog. stay tuned for more things to come.
thanks. glitterskulls.
